Write up of Wayne Pearce in emptyeasel

There’s probably nothing quite like experiencing the raw, lively energy of New York City for yourself. . . but if you ask me, Wayne Pearce’s paintings are about as close as you can get without actually being there!

A graduate of NYC’s School of Visual Arts now living in Ft. Myers, Florida, Wayne’s goal is to capture a few of his memories, experiences, and feelings from the Big Apple before they fade forever.

Take a minute to explore just a few of his paintings below, and enjoy!

Top 5 Art Supply Websites

top 5 art supply stores

top 5 art supply stores

I have compiled a list of the top 5 art supply websites that I have used at different times. If there is no art supply shop near you, one of these sites may be a good place to buy your art materials. When shopping online, please pay attention to shipping. If you live in a different country, shipping charges may be too high.

The way I solve this problem is to order in bulk. Overall, you will save a lot more than ordering in separate shipments.

Also, the larger online art stores have many free resources for artists, including art tutorials, articles, tips, free newsletters, and much more. I also use online art supply websites to learn what new materials are available and find reviews and feedback on a variety of art products. If you would like to add to this list contact me here at waynepearce.com.

Learning the Importance SEO to Sell Your Art

Im new to this SEO game. I have learned so far is that there are two types of SEO ‘Organic and Paid’
You will find hundreds of SEO resources out there, Moz.com and ahrefs.com are two of the best, but
they can be costly.

If your starting out like me try an organic resource like canirank.com. Canirank offers free SEO keyword
and competitor evaluation tools to move you up the SEO ladder.

Here is a screen shot of my current rankings. They are dismally low but let’s see if they grow in the next few months:

It is also a good idea to keep track of your google analytics:

As I learn more about SEO I will post my ranking results. You know you can’t sell your art if customers can’t find you.

Love Series is a commissioned painting based on the theme of Love.

This commission was set in New York City, but Love is everywhere.

Whether in the park, on the beach or a restaurant I can capture that moment you had your first kiss with that special someone. Commission a ‘Love Series’ painting and I will work with you to create that special moment when you found love.

I live in Florida but I create the oil painting in about 3 to 4 weeks and can ship it anywhere in the USA ready to hang.
